Visiting the Steps
The Neighborhood residents Paid for the artwork installation, Repairs and Maintain the Tiled Steps and the Gardens. We ask that you respect the following:
We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Do not block the driveways or any portion of driveways "for a minute" This is not a good way to repay the neighbors that paid for building and maintaining the Tiled Steps
- Don't Stand in the Middle of the Street & Obstruct Traffic.
- Keep Voice & Noise Level Down so as Not to Disturb the Surrounding Homes
- Let's Keep the Neighborhood Clean & Take Your Trash with You. Trash attracts rodents.
- Heavy Objects will Break the Tiles - Which We Pay to repair For, Not the City
- Public Transportation is Easy
- Tour Buses & Vans , Party buses are Not Allowed - It is disrespectful and illegal in this Residential Area
- No bus or van drop off areas within two block radius.
- There are NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS, as this is a residential neighborhood. Restaurants...3 blocks away on Noreiga/19th Ave
- Please keep dogs on leash and out of the gardens, which are paid for and maintained by the neighbors, not the City.
-This is a no fly area for drones. It s an imposition on the security and privacy of the neighbors who paid for this work of art.
- This is an inappropriate venue for exercise groups, as they block sidewalk for walking and obstruct the street
- This area is not available for rental of events
-Permit required from SF Film Commission for all filming and photo shoots (insurance required)
-Coyotes in the area. Keep dogs on leash and be mindful of children.
-Food and beverage sales are not permitted in the area
-The Surrounding Garden plants are paid for and maintained by the neighbors. Please leave them for all to enjoy.
- HOURS: Sat & Sun: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Mon to Fri : 9:30 AM to 6PM -there is no lighting and Steps can be slippery.
Please be respectful of the neighbors.
**Daytime Auto break ins frequent occurrence throughout the daytime. REMOVE ALL BELONGINGS from your car !
